ACDA at Concordia brings together future choral directors with skilled faculty to form a community where peer musicians may grow. Members meet at least once a month for workshops to discuss teaching approaches, composers, conductors and to explore music at every level. Each fall we travel to the Minnesota ACDA convention to experience the workshops and flourishing choral community. Thanks to Concordia's strong tradition in music, we are the largest undergraduate organization representing ACDA in Minnesota. This group believes in music education and aims to continue the tradition through advocating on its behalf.

The Artful Generations Project is dedicated to enriching the lives of senior residents in assisted living facilities through creative activities and art therapy. As an organization, we aim to empower both the student members and the senior citizens we serve. Student volunteers will develop valuable skills in creativity, interpersonal connection, and the importance of social responsibility. Our project acts as a bridge between generations, offering companionship and solace to those who may not receive frequent visits from their loved ones. This project’s core values and goals emphasize the importance of creativity, human connection, and social responsibility.

Asian Student Organization is a club on campus that aims to facilitate and generate conversations and appreciation for Asian culture and heritage on campus. We currently meet every other week each month and we also host fun events such as volleyball tournaments and spring roll making nights! Campus Events Commission plays a big role in why Concordia is not a suitcase campus. With multiple events every week there is always something to do! We provide a wide range of events on and off campus, including BINGO, acoustic musicians, theme dances, trivia nights, service projects, off-campus recreation, and group fitness activities throughout the year. We end the year with Cornstock, a huge spring festival featuring lots of musical talent! Catholic Cobbers is a community of Catholic students on Concordia's campus who meet throughout the year to share their faith as a community. We work closely with Moorhead Catholic Campus Ministries (MCCM) at St. Joseph's Parish, located 6 blocks from campus. There is a college Mass every Sunday at 11:45am at St. Joe's, followed by a free lunch for college students. There are also events on Monday and Wednesday evenings at St. Joe's including a combination of daily Mass (at 8:30pm), Adoration, praise and worship, gym games, and fellowship with other college students. We also host weekly Bible studies, Adoration, prayer, and Catholic speakers throughout the year on campus. Catholic Cobbers encourages interfaith relations on campus amongst all faith backgrounds- all are welcome!

Here is a quick overview of the services we provide here at the CSS:

Academic Counseling: Our academic counselors can help you reach your academic potential by providing different techniques and strategies for things like test taking, time management, study schedules etc.

Tutoring & Writing Center: Tutors are upper class students who provide content support in a variety of areas and are recommended by their professors. The Writing Center tutors help students become more versatile, deliberate and effective writers.

Orientation & FYT: New students will become familiar with the campus, academic life, student activities and college procedures. FYT is a combination of three experiences – each designed to help students build confidence, competence and connection, all taking place during a few of the Engaged Citizenship Seminar times.

DRIVE: Determination. Resilience. Initiative. Vision. Empowerment. Some students experienced challenges or barriers in high school that negatively impacted their academic progress. This program is an opportunity to learn the best success strategies and insights at the very beginning of your college career.

The Chinese Club's purpose is to expose Concordia College and surrounding communities to Chinese languages and cultures; to foster enthusiasm and curiosity for these cultures; to build relationships with the Chinese-speaking world; and to encourage mutual understanding between the East and the West. The Chinese Club will host activities such as hot pot nights, Lunar New Year celebrations, and weekly Tea TIme meetings! Students of all levels and involvement are welcome to join the club for its events and encouraged to do so. The club's leadership positions are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Communications Officer, Social Media Coordinator, and Secretary; with executive board meetings occuring on a weekly or bi-weekly cycle.

Club Access focuses on building community and addressing social justice injustices. We have events where students can come together and develop relationships, have discussions about social justice, and we aim to create a student-driven genuine safe space for underrepresented students to feel accepted within a community that values them as an entire person. Cobb Dance Club encourages a community of students to learn how to dance, and teach dance, and most importantly to have fun. The main dances we teach are different cultural dances followed by jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. We perform these dances as a group in different settings like flashmob, concerts, and dance fun every month. If you are interested in dancing, join us during our meeting time. Cobb dance club meets every Saturday to learn dance choreography from different dance choreographers.

The mission of the CAC organization is to expose business students to various organizations and job types, to help students prepare for career-related opportunities, and to provide networking opportunities for business students, with a focus on the accounting area of business.

Members of the CAC will benefit from multiple networking opportunities with a variety of different accounting firms around the states of Minnesota and North Dakota. Students will gain knowledge of a career in accounting in an environment where they can ask questions and learn from professionals. Members will also get to engage in many meaningful activities like site visits and presentations.
